Tinder Is Probably The Best Thing That Ever Happened To The Olympic Village, Ever

Jamie Anderson, Olympic Snowboarder: “Tinder in the Olympic Village Is Next Level”

It hasn’t been all work and no play for Jamie Anderson at the 2014 Olympics. The 23-year-old American snowboarder shared with Us Weekly senior reporter Jennifer Peros on Monday, Feb. 10 how she and her fellow female athletes like to play matchmaker while chilling together in the Olympic Village in Sochi.

“Tinder!” Anderson told Us with a laugh about the dating app. “Tinder in the Olympic Village is next level. It’s all athletes! In the mountain village it’s all athletes. It’s hilarious. There are some cuties on there.”

Anderson eventually had to remind herself, however, to focus on the real prize and put her love life on hold. “There was a point where I had to be like OK, this is way too distracting,” she said of using Tinder. “I deleted my account to focus on the Olympics.”

Turning off Tinder ended up working in Anderson’s favor — at least in her career. She won the gold medal in Women’s Slopestyle Event at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi on Sunday, Feb. 9.

Anderson told Us she was looking forward to celebrating her huge win back home with friends in Lake Tahoe, Calif.

“I can’t wait to go out with all my girlfriends and dance,” Anderson, a spokesperson for Olay Fresh Effects, shared. “There is nowhere to go out here! It’s been too long. I’m excited to just go home and let everything sink in. It’s been such a busy roller coaster. It’s been one of the craziest seasons of my life . . . I am so thankful and fortunate that I got through it.”

I would give my left nut to be in the Olympic Village.  I don’t care if it was as an athlete, or an innocent bystander just scraping up the scraps.  Sex city!  We heard the stories about the village during the Summer Olympics in London.. Now the Sochi stories come flooding in.  Tinder, baby.  I’m telling you people fell asleep on Tinder.  It came in strong and fizzled out.  People still use it but not like it was used back in the day (last year).  The only people that still get it are the olympic athletes. Goddamn! I am filled with envy.  Tinder totally cuts out the middle man.  Athletes used to have to ask other athletes to bang in person! Can you imagine that?? And the sex that was had was a string of savage one night stands and sweaty love making before beach volleyball, and track events.. now we got Tinder in the village an absolute game changer.  Imagine what the sex game looks like now??

Can you even imagine:

“Congratulations! You’ve got a match!

Oh hey 22-year old American figure skater Ashley Wagner, you little minx, lets get it on.”

ashley wagner

“Congratulations! You’ve got a match!

What’s up Russian snowboarder Alena Zavarzina, you’re one fine piece of ace, lets make some mistakes tonight ;)”

She looks so hard to get, which is my favorite, what a fucking challenge! Wear less! Wear less!

“Congratulations! You’ve got a match!

Hey Aussie snowboarder Torah Bright.. I’m a huge fan.. You’re place or mine?”

Nothing says “Let’s have some fun tonight” like taking a bathroom selfie.. Daddy likes.

You can’t sleep on this Jamie Anderson chick either, you can just tell she loves to have a little fun:

Snowboard - Winter Olympics Day 2

I’m here in Boston, but my heart and mind is in Sochi, in the Olympic Village.. I’m just going to close my eyes and hope that when I open them I’ll be buried in female athletes.. a boy can dream.  I feel like I’m ready to be there, but I bet it’s way more overwhelming than I think it is.  Like there are things happening there that I don’t even know about.  Those lucky bastards in Sochi.

Here’s the real question: Do these chick athletes only swipe other athletes to the right.. or do a few lucky Olympic bystanders get a chance at pound town? If so, you can count me in for Rio 2016.  I’m in there like swimwear and you know that Rio is only going to be 110% better than Sochi.. Brazil IS sex.
